I started from a slab on this project and I tried shaping it into a bowl and it has a design on the inside. One problem I faced was that it was cracking around the edges so I tried to slip it but it didn't help much.

This was especially hard the nose was really hard for me to get down and it took a lot of tries.

My first attempt at a pinch pot and it didn't go very well. I spent most of this day practicing pinch pots and got better at it.

Another attempt at a pinch pot. As you can see I did better at keeping the sides more even than the past attempts

One of my better pinch pots, ended up using this one later on for a lid pinch pot that's still in progress

September 28th

Adding grooves to this lidded pinch pot and I am going to do some sort of glaze or underglaze, not sure which one yet.
