Stamps

I don't have many photos of the stamps I've made but I was not happy with the first round of stamps I made. Recently, I made a new stamp out of 612 that imprints into the clay rather than the more primitive strategies.

Relief Sculpture

This was my relief sculpture, as you can tell it is fairly low effort and I struggled wit hthe nose. I made it too big and the mouth is low effort. Unfortunately not my best work. Never got to glazing it because I lost inspiration in the project.

Pinch Pots

I made a couple versions of pinch pots and decided to go with one that had a lid as the on ethat I ended up firing. It's difficult to see but I tried putting some patterns in the sides to add texture. It didn't go so well and I wasn't happy with it. I ended up doing a brown and green glaze and did a solid amount of 3 coats and both colors actually came out pretty good. Not so happy because the lid does not fit on so well.

Sick Bowl

This was one of the first successful bowls I made in class. It's B-Mix and its a super lightweight and beautiful bowl. Super happy with how it came out. I believe I did Indigo Float and I forgot the name of the Red I used over the Indigo Float but this project taught me to keep better track of what glazes I did because the glaze came out great but I forgot to log it so I have to guess on what I used on it.

Vase

This was a vase I made from the 6 inch cylinder assignment. I am not very happy with how it came out. Originally I wanted to use the same glazes as project 4, the bowl. I did, but I think the coats or something was off because it didn't come out nearly as well. It has a lot more red and less blue so it kinda sucks. Shape is a little uneven and thickness unevenly distributed.
